WALLACE HOUSE

For this full-scale renovation, the homeowners wanted a modern yet comfortable home that complemented the traditional character of the existing house. The home was designed with a clean aesthetic, using contrasting accents and rich hues, balanced with light wood. We prioritized a central, open-plan kitchen, dining, and family room area to create warm, inviting spaces for the clients to spend time together. For this young family, with 4 children, it was also important to have more private spaces where each member could escape. For this reason, the traditional layout was preserved in some areas of the home to create these intimate moments without being too formal or precious.
